The 91431 straight air accessory set is designed for versatile use in the home, shop, or garage, often complementing the power nozzle or turbine package that came with a central vacuum system. Having a secondary tool set can save time and effort, as it eliminates the need to move a single tool set from floor to floor in multi-story homes.

The hose end is compatible with the industry-standard inlets, and its low-voltage contacts will activate the system's wall valve. However, some older valves produced before 1980 may use a micro-switch for vacuum activation, in which case the automatic activation feature of the 91431's banded cuff may not function.

This accessory set includes a wide range of attachments suitable for most standard household cleaning tasks, making it ideal for use in basements, garages, and on hard floor areas such as hardwood, tile, stone, and vinyl. The 13-inch metal friction-curved end is designed to swivel over the hose, reducing stress on both the user and the hose.

The 1.25-inch by 30-foot non-electric hose is produced using a unique process that provides a smooth interior for superior airflow and quieter operation. The wall end has an industry-standard 1.50-inch outer diameter, making it compatible with the majority of central vacuum inlets, except for the slightly smaller Nutone-branded inlets.

The package features two chrome wands with nylon friction collars to keep them in place without wedging together, ensuring they can be easily separated. The 12-inch natural-fill floor brush and combination nozzle, designed for area rugs and door mats, are complemented by a crevice tool, dusting tool, and upholstery tool. The included mesh caddy bag allows for convenient storage and organization of the accessories on the hose hanger.

The 91431 accessory set is compatible with all major central vacuum brands, including Beam, Eureka, Vacuflo, Vacu-Maid, Imperium, Cyclovac, Star Power, Canavac, Hayden, Air Vac, MD, and Nutone systems (excluding the Nutone-branded square inlet). The metal band on the hose end will activate the low-voltage control of the vacuum, turning it on as the hose is inserted into the wall valve.
