This central vacuum kit features a two-position on/off switch hose, which creates a circuit through the two low-voltage electrical contacts in your inlet valve. The wall end of the hose has two metal contact plates separated by a thin plastic landing. These plates establish the circuit through the switch in the hose handle, allowing you to control your central vacuum.

The hose end has a small tab projecting from the top, which helps you orient the hose correctly when inserting it into the inlet valve. This tab should be positioned at the top of the inlet valve opening as you insert the hose.

The combination nozzle is designed to seamlessly transition from carpets to hard floors without the need for adjustment. The floor nozzles and the telescopic wand are connected by a simple friction joint, making tool changes easier.

The telescopic wand features a ratcheting mechanism, allowing you to adjust the length from 25 to 42 inches in one-inch intervals, ensuring a comfortable reach. Many users find this wand an ideal complement to their electric brush kit, particularly for cleaning hard floor areas like the kitchen, family room, den, or basement.

The package includes an Italian-made, chrome-plated telescopic wand with a nylon collar, as well as a full set of American-made soft vinyl accessories. These accessories include a 5-inch natural fill dusting tool, a 13-inch vented crevice tool, and a 5-inch upholstery tool with a built-in brush strip, perfect for stairs and sofas. A mesh caddy bag is provided to store the tools, allowing you to easily see which one you need.

The hose is compatible with air turbine nozzles and 1.25-inch accessories of all types, including those from major central vacuum brands such as Beam, Electrolux, Eureka, Vacuflo, Vacumaid, MD, Cyclovac, Canavac, Hayden, Star Power, and Imperium. It permits remote activation of the central vacuum through the low-voltage contacts exposed in the inlet valve opening, without the need to connect to 120V power.

Lastly, the lightweight and highly flexible hose is made in the USA and is designed to power on and off the central vacuum power unit through industry-standard pin jack inlet valves. It works with standard accessories and any of the industry's air turbine nozzles, but is not compatible with electric power nozzles.

The package includes two floor nozzles: a multi-surface nozzle that performs well on both carpets and hard floors, as well as a USA-made hard floor brush. Additionally, the 35-foot hose allows for greater distance from the inlet valve compared to many central vacuum packages.
